Café The Queen's Head
For over two decades, Café The Queen’s Head has been an iconic gay bar in one of Amsterdam’s most authentic neighbourhoods – the historic Zeedijk. Our crowd is as diverse as the city itself. From loyal regulars who’ve been with us for years to curious newcomers and tourists falling in love with our stunning canal view (and cute bar staff) for the very first time.
While we’re proudly a gay bar, our doors are open to everyone. Diversity isn’t just part of the Amsterdam gay scene, it’s part of our DNA, and we’re proud to see that reflected in the people who make our bar feel like home.
